Who we are

Ferric Advisory is an independent corrosion and asset-integrity advisory practice based in Tripoli, Libya. For any question about this notice or your information, email enquiries@ferricadvisory.com.

What we collect

When you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide: your name, organisation, email address, phone number if given, and the content of your message, including any technical information about assets or projects.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and does not load fonts or scripts from third parties.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, to discuss and prepare a possible assignment, and to keep a record of that correspondence. We do not sell your information, add you to mailing lists or use it for marketing without your separate agreement.

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on your consent (given on the form) and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who else sees it

Form submissions are delivered to us through FormSubmit, which processes them on our behalf under its own privacy policy. Our email is hosted by our email provider.

If an assignment requires field surveys, inspection or laboratory work by others, we share only the technical information they need, and only with your agreement.

Confidential technical information

Please do not send confidential drawings or reports through the form. Once we have spoken, we can agree a confidentiality arrangement and a secure way to exchange documents.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an assignment are deleted within 24 months. Correspondence relating to an assignment is kept for as long as needed for the assignment and for our legal and professional obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing enquiries@ferricadvisory.com. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your data protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
